The Rocky Mountain region is the second most unchurched area in the United States.
To keep up with population growth, the number of new churches being planted needs to increase by two-thirds. Converge Rocky Mountain is committed to do our part. The "100 in 10" initiative is unifying our movement behind a God-sized goal of adding one hundred congregations in ten years. 2015-2025. The Rocky Mountain West is expected to grow by at least a million people over that time period and the need is great for new Anglo, African-American, Hispanic, Filipino and Vietnamese congregations. Along with traditional planting models, Converge Rocky Mountain is also pursuing strategies for rural, micro and virtual church starts to reach people in every nook and cranny of the Rocky Mountain West.
God is blessing our efforts. Eighteen of nineteen recent church starts are thriving. Through key systems like recruitment, assessment, funding, training, coaching and building a dynamic spiritual relationship the future is bright for the next generation of plants.
