Where Local Churches Meet Global Mission
Converge Rocky Mountain partners with churches to engage in meaningful local & global mission. Together, we help grow believers, strengthen churches, and equip national leaders to reach their own communities for Christ. Our approach is relational, strategic, and focused on long-term impact.
Our Missions Philosophy
We believe effective mission work is built on clarity and focus. Our philosophy emphasizes:
- Empowering national leaders to lead and multiply the Church
- Prioritizing grassroots, church-driven initiatives
- Investing in a few partnerships deeply rather than many superficially
- Focusing on birth and growth of local churches
- Valuing trusted, homegrown relationships over unknown connections

Mission Trips
CRM sponsors two types of international trips to help churches engage globally together.
Vision Trips
Designed for pastors and mission leaders, these trips focus on relationship-building with national leaders and exploring potential partnerships in specific regions.
Work Team Trips
After partnerships are established, work teams are sent to serve identified projects and encourage national partners on the ground.
Churches not yet ready to plan a trip on their own are welcome to join a CRM-sponsored trip and participate in what God is doing globally.

Long-Term Global Partnerships
Through the Local-Global Initiative, churches of all sizes can work together to share Christ’s love in specific parts of the world. By partnering with on-site national leaders, we make long-term investments that lead to transformed lives and communities.
This initiative provides accessible, affordable, and meaningful mission engagement while helping churches grow a global vision rooted in relationship and sustainability.

Church-Led Mission Opportunities
Churches play a central role in leading and shaping long-term international mission efforts. Each global initiative below is guided by a lead church that provides vision, partnership, and ongoing relationship for that region. Internally, we refer to these lead churches as C1 churches, but the role itself is not about size. It is about calling, commitment, and a willingness to steward a global partnership well.

Prayer Prioritized
Prayer has always been central to the life of God’s people. The early church was formed in prayer, and every movement of renewal has been sustained by it. We believe God still moves powerfully through the faithful prayers of His people today.
Prayer is not passive. Scripture reminds us that it is powerful and effective, shaping how we depend on God, stand in the gap for one another, and seek His renewing work in our churches, communities, and region.
Our hope is to see Converge Rocky Mountain filled with churches united in prayer across Colorado, Wyoming, western Nebraska, and Utah, calling on God for wisdom, healing, and revival.

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”

Broken Arrow Prayer Alerts
When a leader or church faces a critical situation, a Broken Arrow alert is sent to mobilize immediate prayer support across the region.
Ascent Prayer Requests
Each month, the Ascent e-newsletter includes strategic prayer requests for our churches and ministry partners. Contact the Converge Rocky Mountain office to submit a request.
Rocky Mountain Prayer Summits
Regional prayer summits provide space to worship, pray together, and strengthen relationships between leaders and churches. These gatherings focus on intercession for our region and the work God is doing among us.
Engage Locally
Converge Rocky Mountain is committed to building meaningful bridges in our neighborhoods and communities so people can experience the love of Christ where they live, work, and gather. Local engagement is about showing up, serving well, and being present with purpose as we live out the gospel together.
Converge2Engage Events
These events help churches connect with their communities through servant evangelism and practical acts of love. These projects are designed to meet real needs while building redemptive relationships with people who may not yet know Jesus.
The goal is simple: to serve generously, love authentically, and trust God to open doors for His good news to be shared and received.

Disaster Response
When communities face natural disasters, Converge Rocky Mountain churches respond together. From tornadoes and hurricanes to floods and regional emergencies, our churches have partnered to provide care, resources, and hands-on support in moments of crisis.
Churches can participate by donating needed supplies, sending volunteer teams, or supporting relief efforts in impacted areas.

Personal Evangelism Training
We believe effective local engagement begins with equipped believers. Converge Rocky Mountain offers regional training opportunities to help individuals and churches grow in confidence and clarity when sharing their faith.
Resources are also available for leaders who want to provide evangelism training within their own congregations. Additional training pathways can be found through Grow as a Believer and the Institute for Training in Ministry.

Living Missionally Together
Engaging locally means living as salt and light in everyday life. It’s about well equipped believers stepping into their communities with humility, compassion, and courage. We love people where they are, serve faithfully, and share the hope of Jesus when the opportunity arises.
This is the church being the church. Going into the world. Making disciples. Building redemptive relationships with those who are spiritually searching or disconnected.

Engage Globally
Teaming together locally to transform lives globally.
Converge Rocky Mountain believes the local church is God’s primary means for reaching the nations. When churches work together, they can participate in global mission in ways that are sustainable, relational, and deeply impactful.

The Local-Global Initiative
The Local Global Initiative invites churches of all sizes to partner together in sharing Christ’s love in specific regions around the world. Through training, shared vision, and hands-on involvement, churches grow missionary hearts while engaging meaningfully in God’s global mission.
Rather than working in isolation, churches connect around shared global sites and common passions. By working primarily through trusted national church leaders, this initiative focuses on long term, redemptive investment that leads to transformed lives and communities for the glory of God.
This approach makes global engagement accessible, affordable, and effective for churches at every stage of their missions journey.

How We Work Together Globally
For global partnerships to thrive, Converge Rocky Mountain walks alongside churches by equipping congregations for hands on international engagement, helping build focused and strategic relationships with global mission partners, and strengthening collaboration between churches around shared goals. We assist with deploying teams in response to real needs identified by international partners, reduce the cost and complexity of overseas involvement, and help churches pool resources, skills, and finances for greater impact. Along the way, we support the development of churches that lead and sustain global partnerships while partnering closely with the district team for communication, recruiting, and ongoing support.

Engaging with Prayer
January 1st, 2026
Psalm 23 has comforted God’s people for generations. These familiar words remind us that prayer is not just something we say, but a place we enter. This psalm invites us to slow down, listen, and rest in the presence of the Good Shepherd. Begin by picturing the Lord drawing near to you. He knows your name. He invites you into His presence with care and gentleness. Be still for a moment and reflect...
