For the past two years, the Filipino plant has been a growing group of worshipers who gather every Saturday evening at 6 p.m. CrossWind TFC (The Filipino Church) uses its own language, Pilipino, for worship songs, preaching, etc during worship services. Activities that strengthen bonds of relationships within the church are a priority. Training leaders is also a priority. The worship team is led by a recently ordained assistant pastor, Arnold Cubos, and four elders and seven ministry leaders have been trained. As a young church plant, CrossWind TFC needs a great deal of help in training, encouragement, finances and accountability. Specifically, Pastor Henry Serrano sees a need for financial help as he desires to invest in several key areas: training for evangelism; in sending CrossWind leaders to Converge seminars and conferences; in bringing out of state Filipino pastors to come provide teaching and training; encouraging members to build relationships through family retreats, seminars, etc; and website development.
