Benevolence

Ministry families face a number of unique life challenges. At times, these challenges can become overwhelming. The Converge Rocky Mountain Benevolence Fund distributes thousands of dollars every year to help ministry families receive counseling, make house payments, and receive medical treatments. Every partner church is encouraged to designate one offering a year for the Converge Rocky Mountain Benevolence Fund.

Church Under the Tree

"The Church Under the Tree," located in Thomazeau, Haiti is a focus area for CRM's Engage Haiti outreach. Given the blistering heat in Haiti, the Thomazeau church plant will only grow to the tree shade line - approximately 40-50 people. The shade decreased and so did the worshippers. Engage Haiti

The country of Haiti was rocked by a 7.0 earthquake on January 12, 2010.  A ground swell of support swept over the country.  Some of that support has subsided but the needs are still great.  Converge Rocky Mountain churches are united behind the belief that our churches can compassionately connect with the people of Haiti and make a positive difference for the Kingdom of God.

Expansion/Church Planting

The Rocky Mountain region is the second most unchurched area in the United States. To keep up with population growth, the number of new churches being planted needs to increase by two-thirds.  Converge Rocky Mountain is committed to do our part. Historically, this district was built on a passion to see new churches planted.

Utah Initiative

Converge Rocky Mountain is following the leading of God’s Spirit and heading back into Utah.  The state has a 98% unchurched rate and is dominated in politics and philosophy by the LDS church.  The goal is to plant five churches in a reasonably short period of time, four Anglo and one Hispanic. Loren and Carrie Pankratz are leading the charge with our first plant in Centerville, Utah. They welcome churches to bring teams out for an insightful mission’s experience. Converge Rocky Mountain has formed strategic partnerships with Vision 360 and K2 Church in Salt Lake City to make this...
